Here at Angi Services, independent service professionals that are approved to access our platform (“Pros”) are able to do so through the Angi Services for Pros app, which displays a list of jobs that customers have requested and allows Pros to claim them. In addition, Pros are able to track customer feedback, make their own schedule and manage their payment details.
We want to make sure that you have all the information you need to be successful on the Angi Services platform. Understanding your options after you claim a job is important. Please take a moment to read through the information below to ensure you’re best utilizing the platform to manage and grow your business.
Once you claim a job, you will have a period to consider the job and discuss or negotiate any details you want (including any additional pay) with the customer. This period generally ends 48 hours before the scheduled start time, but if you book a job within 48 hours, you will have until four hours after you claim the job before you are committed to the job. During this period, you are free to decline to accept the job and return it to the job pool.
Contacting the Customer
To contact the customer to discuss or negotiate, visit the job details page, and select either call, text, or chat in the app. The phone number is masked in both directions, so the customer can't see your real number and you can't see theirs. Changes to a Booking
If you and a customer reschedule or change a booking and if you want the new information reflected on the booking page, then your customer will have to contact their booking platform (Handy, HomeAdvisor, or Angi) to confirm the changes. You are also always free to manage any changes on your own without Angi Services’ involvement. You also have the option to provide Angi Services with the agreed-to changes in writing and Angi Services will apply any additional payment if you and the customer confirm you want it processed through Angi Services.
You will be subject to a cancellation fee if you cancel a booking after you are committed to it, which is generally 48 hours before the scheduled start time. If you book the job within 48 hours of the start time, then you will have 4 hours after you claim the job before being committed to the job. Please note that if you cancel beyond the 4 hours, you will incur a fee.
